Rant Let me get on my soap box for a minute. I have had a long history in miniatures
gaming. Years ago I bought micro armor from Ros Heroics because it was inexpensive and I painted a single color and
slopped mud on tires and tracks. That got me lots of minis, really fast, really cheap, and I was playing. There
are still ways to do that, and the massed effect of hundreds of tiny, poorly painted minis is still impressive, at a distance. Times
have changed. The hobby has changed. I have changed. My technique has improved over the years and so has
the quality of the product. Prices of minis have gone up, both domestically and abroad, but so has the quality.
So have peoples expectations. My minis from the 70's do not compare with the new releases. I run a gaming
shop and people come here to see quality, or what is possible in the hobby. We carry only quality miniature lines.
We have been trying to build a painting team here in Wisconsin to do quality work at a reasonable price. If
people just want lots of poor quality minis painted quickly for a game, there are other people who will do it cheaply.
But, if they have purchased finely cast, quality miniatures, why would they want an inferior paint job? I don't
understand that type of thinking. A well painted mini can be a source of joy for a life time. Think about it.
At Xyele we offer painting classes every Wednesday. If you're not around on Wednesday, stop in anytime, and we'll help you
with your painting projects. We currently carry three lines of acrylic paints, brushes and other supplies.

Since we are gaming-oriented we also provide research services. Our owner has an MA in
History and we have all the necessary resources to construct most military units from any period (ancient to modern), in any
scale you desire. For instance, we have 6 suppliers of 1/285-1/300 scale WWII figures and vehicles. We are currently
building the 21st Panzer Division as it existed in Normandy June, 1944. This includes a lot of French and even Soviet equipment.
By using all of our suppliers and even modifying some vehicles (Marder Is) we will be able to create units average gamers
might find impossible.

Pricing is dependent upon the cost of materials, complexity of the paint job, the amount of detail, and the amount of research
necessary. Email us for a free quote. We may have some things you want already painted at our store.
